Monthly Meeting
Our meeting site for November will be at Abandoned Building Brewery in Easthampton, MA.
Address: 142 Pleasant St #103a, Easthampton, MA 01027
On November 8th the Pioneer Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited is excited to host Jim Lagacy who will give a talk on Mass Wildlife’s efforts to Recruit, Retain, and Reactive (R-3) the next generation of hunters and anglers in the Baystate. R-3 has become a buzzword for fish and wildlife agencies scrambling to keep their model of fish and wildlife management alive and well for future generations.
As further enticement, we'll be raffling off a chance to win a 9’6” 9 weight Sage rod, and Scientific Anglers System 2 reel with line and spare spool courtesy of the Jack Teahan estate.
Our meetings start at 7:00 (but a lot of us show up early to chat and have a fine brew beforehand). If you like finely crafted cold beer and want to learn more about what's happening with our cold-water fisheries, you'll want to attend this meeting. You do not need to be a Trout Unlimited member to attend this presentation or win the raffle.
Parking for the meeting is behind the long row of factories on Pleasant Street. Access the parking lot via the American Legion Post 224 entrance on Pleasant Street. Drive past the American Legion parking area, turn right, and go to the middle of the factory row. You will see the Abandoned Building Brewery entrance. https://www.abandonedbuildingbrewery.com/
